How to get date, month, year in jQuery UI datepicker?

I used this code:

var day = $(this).datepicker('getDate').getDate();  
var month = $(this).datepicker('getDate').getMonth();  
var year = $(this).datepicker('getDate').getYear();

You can use method getDate():

            day  = date.getDate(),
